Hope your February is going good,
With Valentines day around the corner I am creating a list of top 5 romantic books to read on Valentines day.
Many of you must be having your V day plans beforehand, but for those who have plans to sit home and cherish your own existence. This is for you.
In fact, this is for all us who prefer spending time in our own space instead of hitting the busy cafes.
Are you also dreaming of a reading date this valentines? 😉
Let’s Turn the Pages of Some Romantic Books this Valentines –
All the five marked below are my favorites and is not arranged in any order of preferences.
- Wuthering Heights
Starting with the classics this one is my all time favorite pick. It is a simple tale about two families with a tied up faiths, i.e what affects the one, affects the other.
The most strong point of the novel is the writing style of Bronte, with the seductive tone and quality the book is emotionally provoking. The poison and the madness in the book is equally balanced by the goodness. With crazy protagonists the book stands out to be read and re-read until you learn it by heart.
- Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
I will definitely put this tale of fan-fiction, family and first love in the list of romantic books to read on Valentines Day. A 433 pages of guaranteed good time is what I can assure. Though the story as a whole didn’t impress me much at first but the quality of words and the writing style is impressive enough to make this one a captivating read.
Pick this book and you will re-live you teen years as the story progress.
- The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
It’s 2020 and I still recommend this book. This is one such young adult fiction that will never left my shelf even after I keep falling for classics every-time.
Hazel and Augustus Waters are beautiful characters and if I ever do a series of writing letters to characters these two will definitely top the list. Picking this book on Valentines will definitely be worth. From love to life this book has it all.
- Romeo and Juliet – the classic romantic tragedy
Good night, good night! parting is such sweet sorrow,
That I shall say good night till it be morrow.
Romeo and Juliet is definitely a book with amazing words and phrases. A madly in love tragedy that deserves your attention. Even though most of us know the story by heart reading it in words will make you fall for it all over again. So what are you waiting for! Grab this book, order a pizza, and have a happy reading.
- Dear John by Nicholas Sparks
I am not a Nicholas Sparks fan, but Dear John has my heart. This is one among my favorite romantic books and every-time someone asks me to recommend romantic books I never miss to add this in the list.
The ending of this book will definitely make you cry!
Just in case you want to spend your V day reading a crime mystery here is one for you 😉 – Death in the stocks.
