Welcome to my little yellow lookbook.
I feel look-books have kind of gone out of style, and different ways to wear a particular cloth is more in fashion these days.
But yellow is my favourite summer colour, and I will never stop making yellow-summer-lookbooks. 😀
This lookbook has four casual outfits. Every outfit has something yellow in it. It was fun to create this lookbook, because for this I had to wear yellow consistently for four days. And YAY! It was super fun.
Let’s be honest, I will be wearing t-shirts and shorts for the remaining summer days. :p
First day in something yellow.
This is a very casual outfit that I wore on a movie night.
For topwear I tucked my yellow kurti that I bought from FBB and wore it as a top.
For bottomwear I chose rigged boyfriend fit mid rise jeans from Mast & Harbour.
I wore chappals that I bought from mini so. I mostly prefer wearing chappals on movie nights because anyway I have to sit in theatre for approximately three hours. It just feels so comfy.
I went to watch Article 15. The last movie of the similar kind that I watched was Newton. And I completely recommend both these movies. These movies will give you insights of remote regions of India. If you haven’t yet watched both these movies I suggest you to please do.
Picnic outfit :p
This is a casual outfit that I prefer on days I want to look really good. I call this outfit a yellow picnic outfit.
The shoes are from HRX. Though I could have wear heels with this outfit but I wanted to make it look a bit casual and so I decided to wear shoes.
For adding some contrasting colour I carried this light tone bag from baggit that I bought at a discount of 30% form baggit store, Ambience mall.
Oh I also wore this yellow cap that I bought from Lulu and Sky to help myself from not melting. The cap says “under control” but warning you I am not. :p
Ready for a coffee date. 😉
This outfit is perfect for a coffee date. I wore a yellow tshirt of bewakoof with a short denim dangree that my mom gifted me few months back. I added a striped blue shirt to tone down the look a bit. Though my friends insisted me to not wear the shirt, but I prefer casual.
A friend helped me with my hairstyle in this outfit.
I always carry headbands with dangrees, I feel like headbands and dangrees are a perfect for each other.
Last weekend I cut my long coloured hair.
Finally I own fringes. I always wanted to get this cut, but I was too scared how it will turn out to be. This weekend I went home and I decided to finally get it done. The Meraki Salon gave me the perfect look that I wanted.
And here is the fourth yellow outfit of this lookbook…
I wore a basic yellow kurti and paired it with my maa’s white dupatta. I completely love how the Indian topwear contrasts with my haircut in this outfit.
Though this is my go-to outfit for classes when I am running late. It doesn’t require much efforts. Just pair a basic solid color kurta with your denims and you are good to go!
OR just grab a tshirt, pair it with your shorts, and rush!
This is what my fours days casual yellow outfits were. I hope your guys enjoyed it.
